University of the Punjab Holds Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign

Lahore, 12 Oct 2023: A crucial Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign took place at the Institute of Applied Psychology, University of the Punjab (PU IAP), focusing on the pivotal role of early detection and provision of support for those grappling with the illness. Under the leadership of Dr. Fatima Kamran, Associate Professor and Program Coordinator for MS Health Psychology, and executed by her team of Health Psychology students, the campaign brought to light indispensable information about breast cancer, aiming at an enlightened, informed, and supportive community. Essential knowledge about the disease was disseminated through information leaflets crafted by the students under the keen supervision of Dr. Kamran, as revealed by the University of the Punjab in their press release.
