University of Sindh Showcases Over 150 Student Projects in Engineering and Technology Exhibition

Jamshoro, The Faculty of Engineering and Technology at the University of Sindh, Jamshoro, has inaugurated an exhibition featuring more than 150 projects created by students in the fields of Information Technology, Telecommunication, Electronics, and Software Engineering. The event was inaugurated by the Vice Chancellor, Dr. Muhammad Siddique Kalhoro, who toured the exhibition, interacted with the students, and offered valuable suggestions for their research.

According to University of Sindh, the exhibition displayed a wide array of student projects encompassing various themes including education, social, administrative, business, and technology applications like mobile apps, e-commerce, online systems, and many more. These projects, developed under faculty supervision over a period of four months, demonstrated the students’ innovative approaches and technical skills. Distinguished guests, including Pro Vice Chancellors, Deans, and Directors of various departments, were present alongside a large audience of students, teachers, and IT experts.

During the event, a job fair was also organized by various companies and banks, where representatives set up over 25 stalls. They provided students with information about short courses, computer-related skills training, and employment opportunities, while also collecting CVs from interested candidates.

Dr. Kalhoro, in his address, praised the IT, Telecommunication, Electronics, and Software Engineering students for consistently proving their mettle through educational projects. He highlighted the vital role of youth in the future of the country and emphasized the importance of modern technology, especially artificial intelligence, in the current era. Dr. Kalhoro expressed confidence in the abilities of University of Sindh students, commending them for their experiments and inventions in modern technology. He also acknowledged the significance of all departments at the University of Sindh, praising the highly qualified faculty for their contribution to teaching services.
