Lahore, The University of the Punjab has scheduled a significant academic event where Ph.D. candidate Ms. Amna Mahmood will defend her thesis on biosensors for identifying drug-resistant Streptococcus species. The public defense is set to take place in the auditorium of the School of Biochemistry and Biotechnology on the 25th of March, 2024.
According to University of The Punjab, the event will begin at 10:00 A.M. under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Amtul Jamil Sami. The thesis titled “Developing of Biosensors for the Identification and Molecular Characterization of Drug Resistant Streptococcus Species” addresses a pressing issue in the medical field, with biosensor technology being at the forefront of rapid and accurate disease diagnostics.
