University of Haripur Showcases Student Scientific Models in Diverse Disciplines

Haripur, The University of Haripur recently hosted an exhibition featuring basic scientific concept models, marking a significant showcase of interdisciplinary student projects spanning biology, physics, chemistry, and more.

According to The University of Haripur, the exhibition, led by Dr. Muhammad Mazhar Qayyum from the Department of Horticulture, drew participation from across the academic community, including deans, department heads, and a wide array of students and faculty members. The event highlighted nearly 50 different models that addressed various scientific themes such as geology, environmental sciences, forestry, and wildlife.

The models were meticulously evaluated by a jury consisting of Dr. Raheem Shahzad and Dr. Salma Shad. Awards were given to the top projects, with first place going to Mr. Roman for his model on climate change and Ahmed Ali for his volcanic eruptions model. Ms. Sadia received the second place for her work on mind comparison across genders, while third place was shared by Ms. Wirda Azhar, for her water purification model, and Ms. Ayesha, for her wind energy project.

The exhibition not only provided a platform for students to display their academic and creative skills but also highlighted the university’s commitment to fostering an environment that encourages scientific inquiry and innovation.
