Mardan, The University of Engineering and Technology Mardan has issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the construction and development of basic infrastructure, including a significant upgrade of its IT capabilities. The RFP is a part of the Public Sector Development Program (PSDP) and aims to elevate the sub-campus to university level, ensuring modern facilities for students and faculty.
According to University of Engineering and Technology – Mardan, the RFP seeks sealed technical and financial proposals from qualified firms on the basis of Single Stage Two Envelope procedure. The firms must be active taxpayers, registered with the Federal Board of Revenue and the Pakistan Revenue Automation Ltd, to be considered for the supply of various items under the PSDP funded project.
The project, encompassing the development of basic infrastructure for the newly upgraded university, requires bidders to deposit a tender fee and provide a 2% bid security. Detailed terms and conditions, as well as the Standard Bidding Documents, are available online and from the university’s office. Submissions are to be made by April 16, 2024, and will be opened the same day in the presence of bidders.
This initiative represents a commitment by UET Mardan to enhance the educational infrastructure and IT services, aligning with global educational standards and improving the academic environment for current and future students.
