Lahore, Dr. Javed Mughal, a UK-based consultant sports physiotherapist, has conducted assessments of Pakistani right-arm pacers Arshad Iqbal and Zeeshan Zameer at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore. Both players are currently dealing with complex ankle injuries. Additionally, Dr. Mughal is set to evaluate left-arm wrist spinner Sufiyan Muqeem.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Dr. Mughal’s evaluations are a crucial step in understanding the extent of the injuries. He is scheduled to meet with Dr. Sohail Saleem, Director of Medical and Sports Sciences at the PCB, on Monday. This meeting is expected to result in detailed reports and the formulation of tailored recovery and rehabilitation plans for the injured bowlers.
