Thousands Mourn Imam Jafar Sadiq and Hazrat Hamza with Procession and Ceremonies

Rawalpindi, A significant mourning procession was held to commemorate the martyrdoms of Hazrat Imam Jafar Sadiq and Hazrat Hamza, illustrating the enduring reverence for these historical Islamic figures. The event, which saw a large turnout of mourners, was particularly poignant as it involved a procession of the coffin of Sadiq All Muhammad and culminated with speeches and mourning rituals at the Darbar Syed Lutf Ali Shah Kazmi Al-Mushahdi.

According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Allama Syed Qamar Haider Zaidi spoke at the event about the difficult times during the reign of Caliph Mansoor, characterized by widespread sedition and a disregard for life and religious law. The ceremony also highlighted the valor of Hazrat Amir Hamza, whose bravery was remembered as a source of fear among his enemies. The proceedings included addresses from several other clerics and ended with the procession moving through Hali Road to Darbar Sakhi Shah Pyara Kazmi Al-Mushahdi.

Throughout the event, various mourning groups including the Central Mourning Hydari Daira and the Mourning Squad Ghulaman Abu Talib participated actively, expressing their grief and respect through traditional lamentations and eulogies. The day’s events underscored the community’s commitment to preserving and venerating the memories of their revered figures.
