Visiting Faculty Required at Department of Physics 

Peshawar, February 16, 2022 (PPI-OT):Applications are invited from the eligible candidates having the following qualification / experience in the relevant subjects for teaching at the Physics, University of Peshawar on visiting basis for the following courses in the Spring Semester 2022:

Candidates having M.Phil/PhD or equivalent degree (18 years of education), in the relevant field from HEC recognized Universities/ DAIs with no 3rd division in the academic career are eligible to apply on plain paper.

Candidates must deposit Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) as application processing fee in favour of the Treasurer, University of Peshawar in A/C No. National Bank University Campus Branch 6290-3 at National Bank University Campus Branch.

1. Incomplete applications and those received after due date will not be entertained.

2. Attested copies of all academic credentials along with CV, CNIC, Domicile, Photograph and Experience Certificate (if any) must reach the office of the Department of Physics, University of Peshawar on or before 22-02-2022 via courier or by hand.

3. The eligible / shortlisted candidates will be called for demonstration / interview after the due process of scrutiny as per university rules in vogue.

Situations Vacant

Peshawar, February 01, 2022 (PPI-OT):Applications are invited from Pakistani Nationals for the appointment on the following positions, under National Research Program for Universities – Higher Education Commission project No. 9286, titled “Development of Multifunctional Bacterial Cellulose-Based Hybrid Photoactive Membranes Towards The Design of Antibacterial Facemasks and Self-Cleaning Temporary Skin Substitutes”.

The candidates fulfilling the prescribed qualification, experience and other conditions may submit their application along with the relevant documents within 15 days of this advertisement. The candidates are required to possess at least two first divisions (one in M.Sc/B.Sc. (Hons)) and no third division in the academic career.

Project information: The project duration is 36 months, however, subject to the availability of funds from donor Agency. The above positions are purely on temporary basis. The selected candidate will be required to sign a bond relating to work efficiency and other rules/regulations for entire duration of the project.

Contract duration: The initial appointment will be for 12 months, which will be extended for the remaining period of the project based on the satisfactory performance of the applicant and availability of funds from donor Agency.
