Lahore, August 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):International Education Office organized an information session on the UK’s Chevening Scholarship on August 17, 2021. The purpose of the session was to guide Alumni and the students who are graduating this year and wish to pursue their Master’s degree abroad.

Ms. Sylvia De Souza, Senior Manager – International Education was the speaker and the session was moderated by Senior Coordinator, Ms. Maryam Khalil. IEO encourages all students to experience study abroad programs. We were overwhelmed by the response of students in terms of their attendance and the questions that they came up with for a better understanding of all the attendees. More than 70 participants actively participated in this two-hour-long interactive session. IEO looks forward to conducting more online sessions on scholarships and study abroad programs to facilitate our students.

We warmly appreciate the support of our IT Department for their support in helping us conduct it via Zoom. We request all Faculty and Staff to encourage students to attend similar sessions, as these sessions are focused on placing our students in an informed position before they apply for the scholarship programs.

Lahore, August 25, 2021 (PPI-OT):FCCU’s student, Atika Qasim has been awarded Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship for Master’s of International Relations from Corvinus University of Budapest-Hungary.

Atika shares how IEO helped her to obtain this scholarship:

Lahore, August 10, 2021 (PPI-OT):
Dear University Students,

Due to the rising cases of COVID and Delta variant, we are shifting Summer 2021 online with effect from Tuesday, 10th August.

Hostels will remain open for PG students and UG students (this includes students without internet, research and senior project students). If you need to remain in the hostel, please connect with the hostel office. The hostel students can connect for their online classes from the hostels.

The PG and research students can continue research on the university campus. The research supervisors must be available on campus for supervision.

Other than the above mentioned categories all student cards will be blocked for health and safety reasons.

For those having access to the campus, COVID SOPs need to be strictly followed.
