Rawalpindi, In a profound reflection on the challenges facing the Muslim Ummah, Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqdisi, the head of Tehreek Nafaze Fiqh Jafaria Pakistan, emphasized the importance of reconnecting with the Quran and the Ahl al-Bayt to overcome these difficulties. He articulated this message in a special address marking Sadiq All Muhammad Day, a commemoration initiated by Quaid Millat Jafaria Agha Syed Hamid Ali Shah Mousavi, celebrated with reverence across the country on Saturday, 22 Rajab.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqh Jafariya, Muqdisi’s message underscored the significance of the Dawat Dhu al-Asheera, the first preaching assembly of Islam, highlighting it as a model for the organization of Nazro Niaz (offering of vows) as both a divine command and a tradition of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). This practice, deeply rooted in Islamic culture, serves as a vital instrument for disseminating Islamic teachings. He elucidated that such gatherings, known as Konda in Pakistan and India, stand as a shared heritage among Sunni brethren, reflecting the universality of Islamic teachings.
The celebration of Niaz of Imam Sadiq (AS) on this day is heralded as an integral aspect of Islamic tradition, providing blessings in homes and assurance for overcoming adversities. Muqdisi called upon the Islamic community to engage in prayer for peace, security, and the alleviation of suffering within the Islamic world and specifically for Pakistan. He stressed the occasion as an opportunity for collective supplication for the swift success of Pakistan’s endeavors and the broader Islamic community.
The Day of Sadiq Aal Muhammad is not just a moment of religious observance but a call to action for Muslims to embody the teachings of the Quran and Ahl al-Bayt in their lives. This day serves as a reminder of the power of faith and unity in addressing the myriad challenges faced by the Muslim Ummah, promoting a message of hope, resilience, and communal solidarity.
