Lahore, The Punjab University Library, in partnership with the Institute of Urdu Language and Literature, recently held a hands-on training workshop focused on online searching techniques tailored specifically for researchers and students of Oriental languages and literatures. This initiative aims to boost digital research capabilities among students and faculty alike.
According to University of the Punjab, the workshop was led by Dr. Muhammad Haroon Usmani and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran, with Deputy Chief Librarians Kashif Khurshid and Syed Saleem Abbas Zaidi serving as resource persons. The event provided participants with direct, practical training in advanced online research methods, enhancing their ability to efficiently navigate and utilize digital resources for their academic and professional pursuits.
The session was well-attended, drawing a large number of enthusiastic students and researchers eager to improve their research skills.
