UVAS Celebrates Achievements of NAVLE Graduates in Lahore

Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) held an interactive session titled “Honoring UVAS NAVLE Graduates” at its City Campus, recognizing the accomplishments of its students who recently passed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE).

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, the event was presided over by UVAS Vice-Chancellor, Meritorious Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus, and attended by several esteemed faculty members and alumni. Highlighting the session was Muhammad Faran Yousaf, a standout graduate from the UVAS sub-campus Khan Bahadur Choudhry Mushtaq Ahmad College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences Narowal, who achieved the highest marks ever scored by a Pakistani on the NAVLE, earning 637 out of 800.

The session provided a platform for graduates like Yousaf to share their experiences, challenges, and success stories. In recognition of his achievements, Prof Dr. Mazhar Iqbal awarded Yousaf with a shield and certificates, praising his efforts and contributions to the veterinary field.

During the event, Vice-Chancellor Younus emphasized UVAS’s commitment not only to academic excellence but also to nurturing graduates who are dedicated to serving the nation. He also announced the launch of the UVAS NAVLE Achiever portal, a new feature on the university’s official website designed to document and celebrate the profiles and records of NAVLE passers.

Further discussions by faculty members underscored the importance of hard work in the veterinary profession and the role of student feedback in evolving the university’s curriculum to meet modern educational needs.
