Lahore, The Punjab University Centre of Excellence in Molecular Biology (CEMB) conducted a condolence reference to honor Prof Dr. Ashraf Tahir, an adjunct professor at CEMB and a pioneer in Forensic Sciences in Pakistan.
According to University of the Punjab reports that the event was attended by PU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Khalid Mahmood, Director CEMB Prof Dr. Moazur Rahman, founding Director CEMB Prof Dr. Sheikh Riazuddin, DG Punjab Forensic Science Agency Dr. Muhammad Amjad, along with faculty members and renowned researchers. VC Dr. Khalid Mahmood emphasized Prof Tahir’s contributions to forensic sciences, expressing gratitude for his dedication to the field. Dr. Moazur Rahman and Dr. Ahmad Ali Shahid reflected on the late scientist’s professional achievements and personal virtues. Prof Dr. Sheikh Riazuddin and Dr. Muhammad Amjad also shared their insights into Prof Tahir’s impactful career and legacy in the scientific community.
