PCB to Rest Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Irfan Khan for Upcoming T20Is Against New Zealand

Lahore, The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced that players Mohammad Rizwan and Mohammad Irfan Khan will be rested for the upcoming T20 International matches against New Zealand this Thursday and Saturday. This decision follows the recent evaluation of their radiology reports by the PCB Medical Panel.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, the decision to rest Rizwan and Khan was made after careful consideration of their medical assessments and in consultation with the Pakistan team management. Both players will undergo rehabilitation under the supervision of the PCB Medical Panel at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore.

The rest period aims to ensure the players’ readiness for future engagements by allowing them sufficient time to recover from their respective conditions. The PCB has not yet announced who will replace the players for the matches.
