Islamabad, The martyrdom day of Hazrat Fatima Zahra (AS), revered as the Lady of Heaven, will be observed with solemnity and respect throughout Pakistan, in line with global commemorations. Special mourning majlis and processions are scheduled in small and large cities across all provinces, including the federal capital, Islamabad. Notably, in women’s gatherings, the coffin of the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) daughter will be brought out as a mark of respect and mourning.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, a central majlis is organized by Umm Al-Binin WF at the central Imambargah, Jami Al-Murtaza Ji Nine Four, where the life and virtues of Hazrat Fatima Zahra will be remembered. The program will conclude with a visit to the symbolic coffin of the martyr and expressions of mourning. Mafikra Islam Syeda bint Ali Mousavi is set to address the gathering.
The commemoration also includes ongoing Ayam Izai Fatimah programs. Khatiba Syeda Zainab Alawiah, speaking at the Central Imam Bargah of Jamia Al-Murtaza, Islamabad, organized by Anjuman Dukhtar-e-Islam, highlighted the exemplary role of Hazrat Fatima Zahra as a guiding light for women, embodying the ideal actions for success in both this world and the hereafter. The event featured eulogies by Abriz Fatima, Zakira Shahr Bano Naqvi, Fatima, Nadia Zahra, and Sabika Rabil Hamdani, concluding with traditional matam (mourning rituals) and parsa.
These observances reflect the deep reverence and spiritual connection of the Pakistani community with the legacy of Hazrat Fatima Zahra, exemplifying the blend of faith and cultural traditions in the country’s religious practices.
