Islamabad, July 19, 2023 (PPI-OT): Directorate of HR Management and Development (Office of the Professional Training) of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) organized training for Non-Academic Employees of the university. The inaugural session took place in the Seminar Room of Mariam Block, Female Campus, and was graced by Prof. Dr. Nabi Bux Jumani, Vice President (A and F) IIUI, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The program, titled “Training and Development of Non-Academic Employees,” aims to equip around 300 non-academic employees holding positions from BPS 09 to 16 with essential skills and knowledge to enhance their professional abilities. Among the core topics covered during the training are Professional Ethics, Customer Care, Communication Skills, and Job Meaningfulness.
Ms. Nosheen Syed, the In-charge of the Office of Professional Training, briefed the Vice President about the program’s design and objectives, emphasizing its significance in empowering the university’s non-academic staff to better serve the institution and its diverse community. The trainers included Mr. Inaam Ul Haq, Director of IPD, Dr. Kashif Suhail Consultant and Master Trainer from the Institute of Professional Development (IPD), Dr. Zara Tahir, Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Management Sciences (FMS), Ms. Sidra Huma from the Department of Media and Communication Studies, and Ms. Sara Rasheed from the English Department.The program is set to continue for several weeks, ensuring that all attendees gain valuable knowledge and skills to excel in their respective roles.
