Karachi, Mr. Muhammad Waqas, Deputy Director of Industrial Liaison at National Textile University (NTU) Faisalabad, participated in a two-day Training of Trainers program organized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Karachi. The event, held from November 2 to November 3, 2023, aimed to provide ORIC (Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization) professionals with the latest tools, techniques, and best practices in technology transfer.

According to National Textile University Faisalabad, this comprehensive program focused on enhancing the impact of universities on the innovation landscape. Participants, including Mr. Waqas, received hands-on training and advanced skills in areas such as ORIC revenue generation, intellectual property in research, marketing of research, and technology commercialization, thereby boosting their capacity to foster innovation and research commercialization in their respective institutions.
