NTU Hosts Seminar on Drug Abuse Awareness and Mental Health

Faisalabad, The National Textile University (NTU) Blood Donation & HealthCare Society organized a seminar on Drug Abuse Awareness in collaboration with Anti-Drugs Faisalabad. The event aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and promote mental health awareness.

According to National Textile University, the seminar was led by Chaudhary Zafar, Chief Patron of Anti-Drugs, who outlined the seminar’s objectives. Dr. Husnain Chattha from DHQ Faisalabad addressed the students, focusing on drug abuse prevention and mental health. The Chief Guest, Muzammil Yar, Divisional Director of Social Welfare and Bait-ul-Maal Faisalabad, emphasized the positive outcomes of staying drug-free. Mr. M. Anwaar Khan, General Secretary of Anti-Drugs Faisalabad, was also present at the event. Ma’am Nadia Shamim, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, concluded the session by thanking the guests and highlighting NTU’s initiatives to maintain a drug-free campus and foster a conducive environment for study and research.
