Faisalabad, The National Textile University (NTU), in collaboration with the German development agency GIZ and various local textile and fashion companies, has organized a recruitment drive aimed at bolstering Pakistan’s textile industry by providing employment opportunities for NTU students. The initiative, supported by leading companies such as Kay and Emms Private Limited, Klash Pvt., Beacon Impex (Pvt) Ltd., Maheen Textiles, and Ambition Clothing, featured interviews conducted by HR professionals from these firms, targeting final-year students from each school at NTU.
According to National Textile University, the recruitment event was part of the broader NTU-GIZ and Textile Industry Outreach Program-Initiative I, which seeks to integrate the skills of NTU graduates with the needs of the industry. The Punjab Job Portal and Shemeanswork-SMW were utilized to display the digital job registration process for the students, facilitating a streamlined connection between graduates and potential employers.
This collaborative effort underscores the commitment of both educational institutions and industry leaders to foster economic development and reduce unemployment within the sector by aligning academic achievements with market demands.
