Lahore, Pakistan’s fast bowler, Naseem Shah, has begun the final stage of his rehabilitation process at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Lahore. This marks a significant step in his recovery journey since his injury during the Asia Cup in September.
According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Naseem Shah sustained an injury during the Asia Cup, after which he underwent surgery in the United Kingdom. Post-surgery, he spent two months in the UK for initial rehabilitation and training, during which the PCB covered his medical expenses. Throughout his stay in the UK, Shah received continuous attention from a team of expert medical staff. His rehabilitation has now been shifted to the NCA in Lahore, where he is being supervised by a specialized team, including a strength and conditioning coach, a physiotherapist, and a doctor. Presently, he is engaging in light gym exercises and partial bowling practice and is expected to commence batting practice tomorrow.
