Bahawalpur, The Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) hosted a seminar organized by the Department of Pakistan Studies to commemorate the 147th birth anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the Father of the Nation. The seminar featured discussions on the life and achievements of Jinnah and current national challenges and opportunities.
According to The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, the seminar brought together faculty members from the Department of Pakistan Studies, including Dr. Robina Yasmin, Dr. Fiaz, Dr. Saeed, Dr. Imran, Dr. Akram, Dr. Noor, Dr. Ahsan Ghazali, Dr. Madni, Naeem Khan, and Asif Usman. Additionally, Dr. Ishrat Noreen from Sadiq Erganton College and several students participated in the event.
The discussions provided deep insights into Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s contributions to the nation, reflecting on his life and the critical role he played in Pakistan’s formation. The participants also analyzed Pakistan’s current situation, examining its various challenges and the potential for growth and development.
Dr. Robina Yasmin, serving as the chairperson of the session, concluded the seminar by thanking the attendees. She emphasized the significance of key events in Jinnah’s life and underscored the crucial role students have in continuing the legacy and spirit of the Pakistan movement.
