Islamabad, The female campus of the International Islamic University (IIU) is preparing to launch its Sports Gala 2023 on Wednesday. The gala, which aims to showcase the athletic talents of thousands of female students from 11 faculties of the university, is expected to be a vibrant and memorable event.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI), Incharge of the Female Campus, the final preparations for the grand opening ceremony, scheduled for Wednesday morning at 11 am in the campus courtyard, are underway. She, along with the Students’ Advisor Female Dr. Sadia Saleem, Director Administration Inam ul Haq, and other officials, has reviewed the arrangements and finalized the details for the colorful opening ceremony. The event has been organized by the Directorate of Students’ Affairs Female Campus and is supported by the President of the International Islamic University, who expressed a desire for the ceremony and gala to be memorable events for the female students.

The Sports Gala will feature a variety of competitions, including tug of war, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, basketball, cricket, football, indoor games, E-gaming, and athletics. The opening ceremony will be marked by a march past of the female students. The participants, who have undergone trials in their respective faculties, are eager to display their skills and compete in these diverse sporting events.

This initiative by the International Islamic University’s female campus highlights the institution’s commitment to promoting sports and physical activities among its students, fostering a spirit of healthy competition and teamwork.
