Islamabad, In a significant religious gathering marking Nima Shaban (Shab-e-Barat), Islamabad will witness a central assembly at Rawal Dam, complete with collective prayers, Milad celebrations, and the submission of petitions to water. This event, scheduled for the evening of 14th Sha’ban, February 25th, from Maghrib to dawn, underscores the city’s dedication to observing this sacred night with grandeur and spiritual fervor.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the Islamabad District Universal Days of Justice Committee and the Mukhtar Students Organization have finalized preparations for this distinguished occasion. The ceremony will commence with collective actions at 10 o’clock in the evening, followed by a principal ceremony celebrating All Muhammad (peace be upon him). Allama Aghazi Hussain Maqdisi, the head of TNFJ Pakistan, is slated to deliver a special address, complemented by speeches from renowned scholars, sermons, and Zakir. Additionally, the event will feature performances by world-renowned naat and manqbat khawans, poets, and qasida khawans, dedicated to the glory of Imam-e-Zamana.
The culmination of the event at dawn will see attendees submitting their petitions to the water of Rawal Lake, followed by a collective prayer on its banks. The volunteer Mukhtar Force, Ibrahim Scouts (Open Group), will provide security assistance in coordination with the Islamabad administration. Furthermore, a reception camp will be established by Mukhtar Students, MO, and Mukhtar Generation to aid the needy and facilitate the submission of petitions.
This gathering not only highlights the religious significance of Shab-e-Barat but also demonstrates the community’s collective spirit in seeking divine blessings and justice.
