IIUI Female Campus Hosts Enlightening Ramadan Lecture Series

Islamabad, In a bid to enhance spiritual awareness and understanding of Islamic teachings during the holy month of Ramadan, the Directorate of Student Affairs (DSA) and Faculty of Usuluddin at the Female Campus of the International Islamic University Islamabad (IIUI) successfully organized a series of enlightening lectures. The event, held at the Fatima tuz Zohra Auditorium, drew significant participation from both faculty and students, demonstrating a keen interest in deepening their knowledge of Ramadan’s practices and jurisprudence.

According to International Islamic University Islamabad, the lecture series featured a distinguished panel of speakers, including Dr. Fouzia Saeed, Dr. Salma, Dr. Taimia Sabiha, Dr. Soumia Aziz, Dr. Saleha Batool, and Dr. Sobia Qurban, all from the faculty of Usuluddin at the Female Campus. They were joined by senior faculty members and administrators, including Dr. Sumayya Chughtai, the In-Charge of the Female Campus, and Dr. Humaira Ashfaq, Provost at the Female Campus.

The primary aim of these lectures was to offer a platform for spiritual renewal and guidance on observing Ramadan in accordance with the Sunnah and the teachings of the Quran. Attendees were provided with practical advice on planning their deeds for the holy month, alongside an exploration of jurisprudential aspects of fasting for a more profound understanding and practice.

Additionally, Ramadan Manuals were distributed to participants, ensuring they were equipped with the necessary knowledge and tools to fully embrace the sacred month’s spiritual journey. The sessions were interactive, with speakers sharing insights and addressing common misconceptions about fasting, all while referencing Quranic verses and Hadiths to highlight the significance of Ramadan and the various aspects of fasting.

The lecture series at IIUI’s Female Campus not only facilitated a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings related to Ramadan but also fostered a sense of community and engagement among students and faculty, reflecting the university’s commitment to promoting religious education and spiritual growth.
