The workshop emphasized critical thinking in math and the derivation of formulas, encouraging students to approach problems creatively.
The Coding Camp introduced DSSE students to the basics of Python programming. Participants learned to identify patterns in critical reasoning and problem-solving, creating algorithms for complex problems. This hands-on experience aimed to enhance their coding skills and their ability to break down complex tasks into manageable segments.
Finally, the Community Building workshop focused on social skills development. Through various activities, students expanded their perspectives, developed a generous outlook, and engaged in community-building exercises. This workshop aimed to help students overcome social anxiety and form lasting friendships.
