Education awareness to Street Children

Faisalabad, The National Textile University (NTU) Community Service Society, in partnership with the Youth Development Center (YDC), hosted an educational awareness event for street children and their parents on May 14, 2024. The event aimed to help these children integrate into mainstream society and reduce their social isolation and marginalization.

According to National Textile University, the session was organized by Dr. Shahzad Iqbal, Convener of the Community Service Society, with President Abuzar Khan and the team from the School of Arts and Design’s Textile Design Society. The activities for the day were designed to engage the children in a fun and interactive manner, featuring games, coloring sessions, and animated movies. These activities not only provided entertainment but also demonstrated the children’s enthusiasm for learning and participating in community life.

The initiative reflects NTU’s commitment to social responsibility and its efforts to provide supportive pathways for underprivileged children in the community. By fostering a welcoming and engaging environment, the university aims to encourage these children to see education as a viable and exciting opportunity for their future.
