CJCSC General Sahir Shamshad Mirza Meets President Asif Ali Zardari in Islamabad

Islamabad, In a significant meeting at Aiwan-e-Sadr today, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, met with President Asif Ali Zardari to discuss national security and the operational readiness of Pakistan’s Armed Forces.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, General Mirza congratulated President Zardari on his appointment and briefed him on the country’s current security dynamics and the Armed Forces’ preparedness to confront both internal and external challenges. The General emphasized the military’s capability to effectively manage these challenges.

President Zardari, acknowledging the briefing, praised the Armed Forces for their role in safeguarding Pakistan’s borders and contributing to its socio-economic progress. He expressed full confidence in the security forces’ ability to navigate through the security challenges facing the nation.
