Karachi, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party, has congratulated the newly elected office-bearers of the bar associations in Sindh. In his message, he expressed his wishes for their success and emphasized the importance of their roles in promoting constitutionalism and the rule of law in Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the PPP chairman specifically mentioned several key figures, including Ali Hassan Chandio, the new President of the High Court Bar Association Mirpurkhas, and Aziz Ahmed Leghari, General Secretary. He also acknowledged Naveed Ahmad Shah and Sunder Khan of the District Bar Association Sukkur, Habibullah Ghori and Kamran Gorar of the District Bar Association Larkana, along with Ali Raza Chana and Naeem Mangi of the District Bar Association Shaheed Benazirabad.
The chairman praised the People’s Lawyers Forum (PLF) Sindh chapter for their performance and dedication to upholding democratic values. He voiced confidence in the capability of the legal community under the newly elected leadership to tackle the challenges facing the legal system and to further democratic processes in the country. The statement reiterates the PPP’s commitment to democracy and the constitutional mandate, underscoring a rejection of any actions that compromise these principles.
