Bilawal Bhutto Zardari calls for proactive role from provincial ministers and assembly members in Sindh

Karachi, Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has outlined a comprehensive development strategy for Sindh, prioritizing solar energy initiatives, welfare of workers, educational improvements, and public-private partnerships in the minerals sector. He stressed the importance of modern and affordable transportation, enhancing law and order, and rehabilitating flood victims. A special focus was placed on granting residential plot ownership rights to women from flood-affected families.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, during a meeting of the provincial parliamentary party at Chief Minister Hawas, the PPP Chairman emphasized the need for provincial ministers and assembly members to fully engage in resolving public issues and accelerating development in the province. He remarked on the party’s historic success and the necessity to work tirelessly to meet public expectations. He insisted on the importance of assembly members being present in the House and maintaining ongoing contact with their constituents.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also addressed the national political climate, criticizing the divisive politics prevalent in Islamabad and expressing his desire for assembly members to cease the politics of transfer postings. He highlighted that appointments and transfers of officers should be performance-based and monitored by ministers and assembly members to improve government service delivery.

Additionally, he commented on the internal conflicts within the party, stating they negatively impact government performance and emphasized the commitment to teamwork and serving the impoverished. The Chairman discussed the need for improved security measures to counteract the modern weaponry among criminals that has disrupted law and order.

Lastly, he acknowledged the efforts of MPA Faryal Talpur, Central President of the PPP Women’s Department, for her continuous engagement with party workers across Sindh.
