Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Advocates for People’s Role in Shaping Pakistan’s Future

Quetta, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, addressed the Balochistan High Court Bar Association, emphasizing the importance of allowing the people of Pakistan to shape the country’s political, economic, and social future. He highlighted his family’s sacrifices for democracy and expressed empathy for the suffering of Balochistan’s people.

According to Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari recounted the tragic histories of his mother, Benazir Bhutto, and his uncles, Shahnawaz and Murtaza Bhutto, while connecting with the pain of Balochistan’s residents. He questioned the value placed on Pakistani lives, especially in Balochistan, and criticized the system’s failure to deliver justice over 70 years.

With general elections scheduled for February 8, Chairman PPP questioned the repeated selection of past leaders and urged citizens to decide Pakistan’s future. He criticized former leaders for their age and political styles, advocating for a shift from traditional politics. Bilawal Bhutto emphasized the PPP’s commitment to giving Balochistan its due rights, citing past achievements in Sindh, like the Thar Coal project, and expressing confidence in the potential of Pakistan’s people to bring about change.
