Azam Khan to Miss T20Is Against New Zealand Due to Injury

Rawalpindi, Azam Khan has been ruled out of the remaining T20 International matches against New Zealand following a calf injury, as confirmed by recent medical evaluations.

According to Pakistan Cricket Board, Azam sustained a Grade One tear in his right calf muscle during a pre-match training session at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The injury necessitates a 10-day rest period, sidelining him for the conclusion of the T20I series, which ends on April 27 in Lahore. Azam will leave the Pakistan men’s cricket team to begin his recovery at the National Cricket Academy under the care of the PCB medical panel.
