Islamabad, In a significant political meeting, Asif Ali Zardari, President of the Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarians (PPPP), engaged with the delegation of Mashaikh Ittehad Council Pakistan at Zardari House Islamabad, garnering support for the party’s nominated candidates.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, the meeting was notable for the attendance of prominent religious leaders, including Sajjada Nashin Jhandi Sharif Pir Mahmood Ahmad Abbasi, Pir Muhammad Ehsan Danish of Bhalwal, Khwaja Pir Muhammad bin Mazhar Farid Koreja of Kot Mithan, and others. These leaders pledged to mobilize support for the PPPP’s nominated candidates across the country, indicating a significant backing from various monasteries and religious communities.
During the meeting, Pir Mahmood Ahmad Abbasi extended an invitation to former President Zardari to visit his Khanqah. President Zardari accepted this invitation, indicating his intention to visit in the near future.
