Islamabad, On the occasion of International Children’s Day, former President of Pakistan and President of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Asif Ali Zardari, shared his vision for the future of Pakistan’s children, emphasizing their role as tomorrow’s architects and the need for a polio-free nation.
According to Pakistan People’s Party, President Zardari reiterated the mission of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto to eradicate polio and expressed his concern over children’s welfare, particularly those suffering from poverty and deprivation. He underscored his commitment to making Pakistan a safe place for children, free from fear and terror. The Benazir Income Support Program, aimed at providing health and education sponsorship to poor and deserving children, was highlighted as a key initiative. President Zardari concluded by advocating for a society free from extremism as a crucial step towards ensuring a brighter future for the nation’s children.
