Jamshoro, The Sindh University Lad Campus in Badin recently held its Annual Sports Gala 2024, focusing on enhancing students’ mental development, harmony, and teamwork through a series of sports and co-curricular activities. More than 300 students participated in events including cricket, badminton, table tennis, and tug of war.

According to University of Sindh, the gala was presided over by Professor Dr. Khalilur Rehman Khombati, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the Lad Campus, with Deputy Commissioner Badin Abdul Fattah Halio attending as a guest. The Deputy Commissioner praised the initiative for contributing to students’ growth in areas such as patience, strategic planning, and decision-making.

Professor Khombati highlighted the Lad Campus’s role in providing quality education and fostering a peaceful, education-friendly environment for students from the less developed area of Badin. The event culminated in an award and trophy distribution ceremony, celebrating the achievements of participating students.

The Sports Gala Coordinator, Dr. Azim Akhtar, extended thanks to the guests, and Hakim Ali Nohrio served as the stage secretary. Trophies and medals were awarded to the winning teams and standout students, marking a successful conclusion to the sports festivities.
