Faisalabad, The National Textile University celebrated the opening of its Inter-Departmental Women Table Tennis Championship 2024 with a ceremony held at the university’s Multipurpose Hall on May 27, 2024.

According to National Textile University, Ms. Nadia Shamim, Assistant Director of Student Affairs, officially inaugurated the championship. The event began with a competitive match between teams from the School of Arts and Design and the Department of Textile Engineering (GMD). The ceremony was attended by notable university staff including Mr. Waqar Ahmad, Assistant Professor and Chairman of the Sports Committee, along with Mr. Amjad Ali Naz, Office Assistant, and Sports Officers Pervaiz Akhtar and Imran Ali.

The championship aims to promote sportsmanship and engagement among women students across various departments, fostering a spirit of teamwork and healthy competition.
