Rawalpindi, The Tehreek Nafaz-e-Fiqah Jafaria (TNFJ) Pakistan has declared the commencement of the International Days of Mourning to honor the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza. This period of remembrance will feature various religious activities across the country, including processions and conferences.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, the announcement was made during a meeting led by Deputy Convenor Saida bin Ali Kazmi, where plans for the observance were finalized. The gatherings will pay tribute to the life and virtues of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza, emphasizing his qualities of selflessness, sacrifice, and service to Islam and humanity.
During the meeting, Syed Ibn Hasan Kazmi highlighted the importance of emulating the Imam’s teachings to address current global challenges. He also urged the government to ensure security nationwide during the mourning events and called on mass media to provide prominent coverage of the activities. This call reflects the significance of these days in promoting the values and teachings of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Reza among the followers and the general public.
