Rawalpindi, Leaders of the Pakistan Sunni Tehreek in Rawalpindi, including prominent clerics such as Allama Attaur Rahman Dhaniyal and Allama Dr. Tayyab Raza, commemorated the legacy of Shaheed Muhammad Saleem Qadri during Friday sermons. They celebrated his dedication to protecting the Holy Prophet and his efforts to end extremism for a stable Pakistan.
According to Pakistan Sunni Tehreek, Shaheed Saleem Qadri, who was assassinated by a banned organization on May 18, 2001, has left an indelible mark on the movement. His life’s work and sacrifice were remembered during nationwide events, including Quran recitation and prayer ceremonies to honor him and his companions. An Ahl-e-Sunnah conference is also scheduled, where leaders like District President Rawalpindi Engineer Najam Al-Thaqib and others will deliver speeches reiterating Qadri’s mission and values.
