FATA University Seeks Tenders for Youth Development Centre Furnishings and Equipment

Kohat, FATA University has announced an invitation for sealed tenders from qualified firms for the supply of various items needed for the establishment of its Youth Development Centre, sponsored by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). The university aims to enhance its infrastructure by procuring furniture, electronics, and renovation services to support the center’s activities.

According to FATA University, the tender covers a range of items including office chairs, meeting tables, sofas, laptops, desktop computers, and air conditioners among others. A total of 13 different categories of goods are listed in the tender, aimed at equipping the new Youth Development Centre with the necessary resources to foster a conducive learning and development environment for students.

The detailed specifications for these items are available on the university’s website, where interested firms can download the tender documents. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 2,000 is required with submissions, in the form of a Bank Draft Receipt in favor of the Treasurer of FATA University or deposited directly into the specified account.

Tenders are to be submitted by courier and are due by 11:00 AM on May 27, 2024, with the opening of bids scheduled for the same day at 11:30 AM in the university’s committee room. The process will include a mandatory bid security of 2% of the bid cost, underscoring the importance of financial compliance.

Furthermore, the university has stipulated that the quantities of items specified in the tender may be adjusted based on actual requirements, and all applicable government taxes will be deducted from payments to the successful bidder, ensuring adherence to legal and fiscal standards.
