Rawalkot, A group of students and faculty from the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Poonch, recently embarked on an educational study visit to the University of Punjab’s Institute of Social and Cultural Sciences.

According to University of Poonch Rawalakot, the visit, led by department teachers Mohammad Mudassar and Nayab Rizwan, was hosted by Professor Dr. Rubina Zakir, Director of the Institute. During the visit, students were briefed on various academic and research opportunities, underscoring the historical significance of Punjab University in advancing sociological studies. The participants noted that such exchanges are crucial not only for academic enrichment but also for sharing experiences and methodologies across institutions.

Professor Zakir emphasized the commitment to enhancing the educational capacities of visiting faculties and students, particularly in applying sociological research to real-world issues. She highlighted the importance of developing a deep understanding of human behavior and social relationships as fundamental tools for addressing societal challenges.
