Lahore, The University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (UVAS) Lahore has significantly improved its position in the Times Higher Education (THE) Asia University Rankings for 2024, now ranking between 251-300 among top Asian universities.

According to University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, this improvement marks a leap from the previous year’s 351-400 ranking band. UVAS now ranks fourth among public sector universities in Punjab and 12th overall in Pakistan. The rankings were based on various factors including teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international outlook.

The university’s advancement is attributed to the dynamic leadership of Vice-Chancellor Meritorious Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus and the dedicated efforts of the UVAS Quality Enhancement Cell, along with the collaboration of deans, directors, and faculty members. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Younus extended his congratulations to all stakeholders of UVAS for this achievement.
