Lahore, In a notable recognition of his research efforts, Dr. Hafiz Azhar Ali Khan from the Punjab University Institute of Zoology was awarded the “Prof. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmad Gold Medal 2024” during the 42nd Pakistan Congress of Zoology at the University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir in Muzaffarabad.

According to University of the Punjab, the Zoological Society of Pakistan honored Dr. Khan for his significant contributions to entomological sciences.
