Punjab University Department of Mathematics Announces Weekly Seminar Series

Lahore, The Department of Mathematics at the University of Punjab is set to host a series of weekly seminars, featuring a lineup of notable speakers who will present on a variety of advanced mathematical topics. The seminars are scheduled to take place at the Seminar Hall, Department of Mathematics, and are aimed at fostering academic discussion and research collaboration among faculty and research scholars.

According to University of the Punjab, the series will kick off on Thursday, April 24, 2024, at 3:00 PM. The first seminar will feature discussions on topics ranging from the application of CODAS methods to fuzzy sets by Nabihah, to the R-extension of fuzzy sets towards enhancing industrial fuzzy sets by Asia Akhter. Other presentations will include studies on fractional spherical fuzzy sets, quantitative analysis of VBD topological indices of certain graph types, solutions for non-linear evolution equations, and a deep learning framework for solving complex physical models through PINN, among others.

The initiative, coordinated by Dr. Zeeshan Yousaf, aims to provide a platform for presenting cutting-edge research and facilitating intellectual exchange among participants. Each session promises to deliver insights into recent advancements and methodologies in mathematics that have practical implications across various scientific domains.
