Lahore, Punjab University has bestowed the prestigious title of Professor Emeritus upon two of its distinguished former faculty members in recognition of their extensive contributions to academia and leadership within their respective fields.

According to University of the Punjab, the university’s Syndicate recommended the appointment of Dr. Kanwal Ameen and Dr. Rukhsana Kausar as Professor Emeritus. Dr. Ameen has previously served as Vice Chancellor at the University of Home Economics, while Dr. Kausar held the position of Vice Chancellor at the Government College for Women University in Sialkot. They will receive the honor in the Department of Information Management and Institute of Applied Psychology, respectively.

This acknowledgment serves as a testament to their academic achievements and leadership in higher education, marking their lasting legacies at Punjab University and beyond.
