Karachi, Asif Khan, the Deputy Secretary Information of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Karachi Division, emphasized the party’s commitment to legally contesting the alleged rigging in the general elections and announced the commencement of preparations for the upcoming Cantonment Board elections and the observance of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s martyrdom day.
According to Pakistan Peoples Party, these statements were made during a meeting with the district organization at the Eastern District liaison office, highlighting a proactive approach towards addressing past grievances and gearing up for future electoral engagements.
The meeting, attended by numerous party officials and workers, focused on reviewing the PPP’s performance in Karachi East, assessing organizational effectiveness, and outlining strategic directions for upcoming events and elections. Asif Khan detailed the party’s plan to challenge the electoral results, based on evidence of misconduct, and to hold accountable those undermining the PPP’s mandate. He urged party members to mobilize for the April 4th commemoration of the party’s founder and to actively participate in the cantonment election campaigns.
Furthermore, Khan outlined a reorganization strategy for the Eastern District, stressing the importance of aligning with Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s vision and philosophy.
