Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Pledges to Combat Inflation and Unemployment at Shikarpur Rally

Shikarpur, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, addressed a rally in Shikarpur, emphasizing his commitment to tackling the issues of inflation, unemployment, and poverty. He criticized other political parties for seeking to divide the nation on religious, linguistic, and sectarian lines and vowed to serve all citizens equally.

According to Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in Shikarpur from Naudero on Friday as part of his nationwide election campaign. He was greeted by a large and enthusiastic crowd. In his speech, Zardari outlined his “People’s Economic Agreement,” a 10-point agenda aimed at addressing Pakistan’s economic challenges. He pledged to fight against unemployment, inflation, and poverty and to continue the legacy of his mother, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, and his grandfather, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, in providing employment opportunities for the youth.

Zardari also highlighted the PPP’s historical role in combating the economic difficulties faced by Pakistanis and promised to build on these efforts if elected Prime Minister. He recalled the popular slogan “Benazir Aaey Gi, Rozgar Laey Gi” (Benazir will come, bring employment), reiterating his commitment to fulfilling the unfinished missions of his family members.

Further, Zardari spoke about the challenges faced by Pakistan, including the Covid-19 pandemic and floods. He detailed his efforts in raising funds internationally to build houses for flood victims, with a specific focus on empowering women by granting them ownership rights. He criticized the divisive politics of other parties and promised to end the politics of hatred and division, urging support in the upcoming elections.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari made a strong appeal to the rally attendees to vote for PPP candidates, emphasizing the importance of achieving a decisive victory to effectively address the problems faced by the populace. He assured that with a strong mandate, he would be better positioned to implement his policies and initiatives for the betterment of Pakistan.
