Karachi, Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqdisi, a prominent Islamic leader, has welcomed the messages signaling the restoration of relations between Iran and Pakistan. During a recent event, he emphasized the importance of these two nations, describing them as brotherly Islamic countries and partners in difficult times, to rebuild mutual trust through dialogue.
According to Tehreek Nafaze Fiqhe Jafariya, Allama Muqdisi expressed his views while laying the foundation stone of Madrasah Wilayat-e-Ali Ibn Abi Talib (AS) in Gujarat. He stressed the need for Pakistan and Iran to reduce tensions and restore relations, highlighting their shared borders, religious, intellectual, ideological, and cultural connections. Muqdisi also pointed out that the ongoing tension between the two countries benefits the ‘evil trinity’ of India, Israel, and the United States.
Allama Muqdisi further elaborated on the broader context of these relations within the Muslim Ummah, which he described as being victimized by the conspiracies of the world of disbelief. He urged for the avoidance of mutual conflicts and called for unity in the Islamic world. His message was clear: actions leading to rifts between Muslim countries must be avoided.
The event in Gujarat was also attended by key officials and elders from Tehreek Nafaz Fiqh Jafaria, including Allama Azhar Abbas Haidari, Bawa Syed Tajumal Abbas Hamdani, Chaudhry Lal Khan Khatana, and Dr. Syed Rafaqat Ali Shamsi. The speeches emphasized the need for Pakistan and Iran to take practical steps towards resolving their concerns and negotiating to overcome problems.
Allama Muqdisi concluded by highlighting the global problem of terrorism, which he claimed has most severely impacted Muslim countries. He called for a joint strategy among Islamic countries to combat cross-border terrorism, rather than unilateral measures, to address the issues faced by the oppressed in Palestine and Kashmir under state terrorism from Israel and India.
