Lahore, The University of Education in Lahore has announced the commencement of classes for the Spring 2024 semester, which began on January 8, 2024. In a notification to its students, the university outlined the enrollment schedule and associated late fee charges for the upcoming semester.

According to University of Education – Lahore, students are advised to download their semester fee challan through their LMS account for enrollment in the Spring Semester 2024. The deadline for enrollment without a late fee is set for January 17, 2024. However, the university has provided a tiered late fee structure for students who are unable to enroll by this date.

Students enrolling after the initial deadline can do so with an additional late fee of Rs. 500 till January 22, 2024. Following this, the late fee increases to Rs. 1500 for enrollments from January 23 to January 31, 2024, requiring approval from the concerned Director or Principal.

For enrollments between February 1 and February 11, 2024, a late fee of Rs. 3000 will be charged, also necessitating approval from the relevant authority. The final window for enrollment is from February 12 to February 19, 2024, with a late fee of Rs. 5000.

Students who fail to enroll by February 19, 2024, will be considered as ceased for the Spring Semester 2024. The notice emphasizes that ceased students must re-enroll with the forthcoming session to avoid being dropped from the university rolls. After the final deadline, the concerned Division or Campus will mark these students as withdrawn in the UMS.

The announcement underscores the university’s effort to accommodate students who may face delays in enrollment while also maintaining administrative order and discipline in the registration process. The structured late fee system aims to encourage timely enrollment and ensure that students remain informed of the financial implications of late registration.
