Turbat: Students from the University of Turbat participated in a seven-day Capacity Building and Exposure Program organized by the Government of Balochistan's Youth Affairs Department, visiting Islamabad, Lahore, and Sialkot to gain academic, cultural, and industrial insights.
According to University of Turbat, the initiative aimed to broaden the perspectives of Balochistan's youth and foster both personal and professional development. During the trip from May 18 to 24, 2026, students toured universities, research centers, historical sites, and manufacturing units, including textile mills. The Vice Chancellor of UoT, Prof. Dr. Gul Hasan, along with the students, expressed gratitude to the Youth Affairs Department for the program and emphasized the need for annual capacity-building initiatives to empower Balochistan's youth.
The Vice Chancellor also noted that UoT is committed to enhancing its Directorate of Student Affairs to support a variety of student-centered activities designed to develop digital, creative, and leadership skills among its students.
