Islamabad: M.Y. University has announced a collaborative effort between Dr. Hassan Waseem, Pro Vice Chancellor and Dean of Biological Sciences, and Prof. Dr. Kimberley A. Gilbride, Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Biology at Toronto Metropolitan University. They will guest edit a special issue of the journal “PROCESSES,” focusing on “Advances in Biological Organisms for Emerging Contaminant Removal and Clean Energy Generation.”

According to M.Y. University – Muslim Youth University, this special issue aims to explore innovative research in the field of biological sciences, particularly targeting the use of biological organisms in environmental sustainability and clean energy production. The collaboration between these two esteemed academics from M.Y.
