Faisalabad: In a dedicated effort to raise awareness about breast cancer, National Textile University, in collaboration with WINGS Society and the School of Arts and Design, sponsored by Kamal Cares, hosted a two-day event as part of Pink October. This event, aimed at promoting breast cancer awareness among students, featured a range of activities including a poster design competition and an awareness walk.

According to National Textile University (NTU), the event began on October 30, 2023, with an inauguration by Worthy Rector Dr. Tanveer Hussain, and was attended by Dr. Zafar Javed, Dean of the School of Arts and Design (SOAD), and Dr. Sajjad Baig, Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS). The first day’s highlight was a poster design competition, where students demonstrated their creativity through posters focused on breast cancer awareness. This was followed by an awareness walk, where participants wore pink to show solidarity with breast cancer fighters and survivors.
